Mirena falling out pregnancy question

Hello all, new to this site.  My mirena fell out on Monday, I have had it in for 2 years.  I started bleeding a real period, not the dark blood period I usually had with Mirena.  On tuesday night my husband and I had sex, and he did finish inside of me.  I bleed wed. and thurs. and then on Friday the bleeding stopped completly.  Everything I have red about Mirena says most women bleed for at least a week after it comes out.  I'm wondering if I stopped bleeding because I am pregnant?? In the past I have been very fertile and we've had no problems getting pregnant.  Thank you so much for any help :-)

Hi, I just read your post. A lot of people say that they bled for several days or even weeks after mirena removal.  When mine came out, I bled for 3 days, starting heavy with clots and ending with dark red spotting.  On the 4th day, I starting a real period.  Mine came out mid cycle near ovulation also, I think the reason that we started a period so soon instead of finishing that cycle is because of the sudden drop in hormones.  Since then, my cycle has been 26 days consistently.  Hope this helps, best of luck to you.

What did you find out? I have had mirena for 2.5 yrs and had normal periods the whole time. Although they are "real normal" periods; I've always had at least 5-7 days, sometimes more, of VERY heavy bleeding. With mirena my periods last 3-5 days mostly moderate to light bleeding. The first day of my last period was 12-6, I had mirena taken out on the morning of 12-17. We are ttc and I had the signs of ovulation about the time mirena was taken out. On 12-19 I started bleeding very heavily with clotting. I changed clothes and pads 2 times within an hour. The bleeding nearly stopped that night and started heavy again the next day. It slows after a shower just like a real period. But I don't see how it could be a real period.
