Reasons other than pregnancy for late period and pain?

I usually get my period around the 10th of each month. It's now going to to the 20th. I haven't had sex, and I'm not on birth control. My cycle changed from late in the month to early in the month around March, so it can't be changing again so soon, can it?

I had sharp stabbing pains on the lower left side of my stomach area. Not where the uterus would be, but more where I assume an ovary would be located.

I have some other weird things going on, but I doubt they're related.

I'm probably crazy for even thinking about this, as it's only 10 days (so far) late, but since the pain is around the ovary area, could it be a cyst or something? I've heard that kind of pain is kind of stabby? I know it'd probably be a lot more painful, but is it a possibility?
Sorry if I'm just overreacting, but I get worried over these things. Thanks.

Thanks. It might be that. I haven't really noticed a big difference in stress, but you're probably right.

You could be stressed, it really does cause health to change, and you say you overreact about things so you probably stress yourself out! :) I say take a chill pill and a night to pamper yourself and calm yourself, do some yoga, anything, but relax. :)
