No period

My younger sister who is 26 yrs old has not had her period since Jan 08, she is sexually active with her live in boyfriend, she has taken multiple pregnancy tests (from stores), she is not on birth control, she does have an appointment coming up in a few weeks, my question is could there be something wrong with her, is it normal to not get your period that long and not be pregnant. Has anyone ever had this happen, if so what could it be.

I havent had one either since January but mine is brith control realated.  It is possible to not have a menstrual cycle for that long though, I was always irregular before BC like go 2-3 months without.  There could be several things to check out, mine was due to low body weight but when she goes to the Dr. they'll figure it out. I wouldnt stress too much until she actuall sees a doctor.
