Normal pap reactions?

I had an annual pap smear on 7/19 2pm. i have never experienced any large amount of bleeding after. this particular one, i wiped twice right after and had bright red blood. i urinated shortly after and had to wipe 3 times and all three were bright red blood. i bled   the entire day, enough to warrant a pad. it stayed bright red, the next day it was brown and light brown. i have had annuals done each year since i was seventeen and i am now 33. i have 3 children. i am somewhat concerned. was something done incorrectly? this is the first time i had seen this doctor....any thoughts/comments greatly appreciated Thanks!

It isn't unheard of for you to bleed a little more after a pap. It shouldn't be a ton though. You mentioned it was a different doctor....he/she might have been more rough. Wait and see what your pap results show in case you may have had some irritation in there. If you continue bleeding I would give them a call.
