I just had the procedure done 2 weeks ago with a DNC. First they scraped it(DNC) then they burned the inside lining of my uterus. I haven't had it done long enough to say anything about the periods. But I had my in the hospital under anesthesia. I had cramping afterwards that went away after a week. But now I have a discharge that is heavy enough that I have to wear an overnight pad all day and night. I smelled bad at first now after a couple of days it just smells like urine. I swear this is urine, I go see my doctor tomorrow. They said unless you have a fever or your nauseated, just go see them, you don't have to go to the hospital. Good luck with the procedure.

Excuse my ignorance, what does it really mean??   Hope if you're getting it done in Office that it's not too painful and properly supervised, whatever it is, you're having done.  Let me know please.
