Odorless clear to milky white vaginal discharge

I am 42 years old. On rare occasions over the past 2 years, I have had an odorless, clear to watery milk colored vaginal discharge. I called my ob/gyn and was informed this is probably nothing more then hormonal changes at my age. I was told that an appointment should be made to have it checked. I was in the process of moving and could not schedule the check up before leaving. I have not yet established care here in this state. I wasn't too concerned because it was very rare and when did happen, it was odorless and I had no pain. Now my concern has grown because my menstrual cycle ended and 4 days later I noticed a slight pinkish tint on the tissue after urinating. I looked into the toilet and saw there was a little blood. I thought this is odd, but didn't give it much thought. But for the past 2 days now, EVERY time I urinate, it is accompanied by this light colored blood. Only when I use the bathroom though, as there has been no sign of it on panty liners. What are the causes of this happening?

Your doctor is probably right about hormonal changes, that can cause anything from the watery discharge to the minor spotting you mention. I doubt if you are in any danger. Take the time to get settled, then make an appointment to get checked out. Good luck.
