Ovarian cyst and pregnancy

by T_hig, Aug 30, 2006 12:00AM
I recently found out that i have a cyst on each ovary on one ovary the cyst is 2 cm the other is 3 cm.  I am trying to get pregnant and have been trying for a little over seven months. Nothing is happening. Is it possible to get pregnant with a cyst on both of my ovaries

I don't have experience with cysts myself, but my mother had ovarians cysts with her last pregnancy and the doctors told her she would not carry to term.  Well, my little brother is 19 now!  The cysts probably could very well have something to do with your not getting pregnant, but the only thing you can do is talk with your doctor.  All I know is that my mother suffered from ovarian cysts almost all her life and she's had 3 kids!

I had ovarian cysts that were big enough for them to think one of them were a baby with my second pregnancy. Other than cramping, they did not cause complications and by my 3rd pregnancy they only saw a snaller cyst (but pregnancy itself causes that)

The same day I found out I was preg, i also, foung out that I had  10cm hemmoragic cyst on my rt ovary,
I was prescribed a low doese of viccidine being that i initially came in due to pain, that was inpairing my walking, sitting, sleeping, etc.  I misscarried two weeks later. I was told that cyst develope normally with pregananct, it is just that they sometimes become infected or burst which can cause complications. Otherwise, there are normal, you can get and maintain a pregnanacy. Good luck
