Ovary pain- intense today. I have twelve days until my next period.

I had unprotected sex a couple of times over the past few months but used emergency contraception after- I've had my cycle all three months and have been feeling fine but today and yesterday have felt some serious shifts in my abdomen with pain and it feels like I could be ovulating but more intense.

Sorry you are uncomfortable!  it is hard to say.  There's a lot going on in that area as it is also quite close to your intestines and it could be related to that rather than your ovaries.  It happens.  Or you could have a simple cyst.  Or you can be having an irregular cycle which would not be unusual after taking emergency contraceptives once let alone more than once. Those are a whopping dose of hormones and they almost always mess up a woman's cycle after.  I'd try to get on regular birth control or use condoms instead as they really aren't meant to be taken often.  :>)  So, I'd wait to see what happens but it could be any of those things above.  If the pain gets 'too' intense, then, of course, call your doctor.  good luck
