I am trying something new.. its a natural way to deal with pcos. its from a place called insulite labatories.. they deal with pcos by helping to reverse all the testestrone leves and the insulin resistance. They even give you a helping hand when it comes to dieting and exercize. Its the only thing I found to help out a little more than what the doctors kept telling me.
I also was on birth control aand metphormin to help regulate my cycles. I have PCOS, too. Birth control use to work but now, even trying different kind, they no longer work. I hope we both can find something to help. I've been bleeding since 3/18. PCOS sucks.
The dr gave me the provera several times. It only worked once. I tried to call the doc and ask about it, thinking I should make another appt. but they told me to just keep taking the birth control and it should be fine. I hate the side effects of it though. Anyway, they refused to make me the appt, guess its time to find another dr. :(
I thought being on BCP always brought about a period. Anyway did your doctor give you provera to start a period? That's what I was given sometimes.
