Pain when pushing on the left side of my groin

I don't know what topic to post this under. I used to have a huge fear of my lymph nodes, but got over that about two years ago. I was going through my favorites folder on AOL and deleted all the websites I had saved about lymph nodes. I had a major problem with a right lymph node in my groin. Just out of curiosity, I started feeling around again. The left side of my groin hurts to push on it. It doesn't really feel swollen at all. I have always been able to feel my lymph nodes, part of why I am so scared of them, and they are all about pea sized. It only hurts to push on it, not to do anything else (even yoga.) It feels like I pulled a tendon or a muscle maybe. I can't remember doing it though. Because I have been pushing on it so much lately, my left leg is also starting to hurt. That is why I think it is the muscles maybe because now my leg is sore. Does anyone have any ideas? Am I just being paranoid like always? Pain right there isn't a sign of pregnancy, is it? 'Cause I am currently paranoid of that as well. It seems to be where there is a lymph node, but also on the long tendons and stuff. I just noticed it yesterday and it is not really worse, but doesn't hurt quite as much to push on it. The lymph nodes are not any bigger or smaller than they were yesterday. Thanks for your help.

It could be a groin pull. Here is a video I found might be helpful because I believe I have the same problem even though I'm a guy. Look up on Youtube:

Thank you very much. I am a major hypochondriac! haha. I am not really concerned there is something there now, but it does still hurt in certain spots. Maybe I just pulled a muscle...most likely. Thanks for your help.

I'd listen to your mother.  It sounds as if you're a bit of a hypochondriac, and self-diagnosis isn't ever a smart idea.  If the problem continues to upset you, go sit down with a doctor and discuss it.  But it really doesn't sound like anything except anxiety or paranoia to me.

The first time I had lymph node fears, yes. He told me there was nothing wrong and it stopped. I have no discussed this one though because I just found it yesterday. It was not bothering me at all, then I started looking for them, and now they hurt and so does my entire leg. My mother said she feels nothing, but I don't know. I'm still scared.

Have you every discussed all these things with a real doctor, rather than with us normal, average people?
