Pain after sex

Everytime I have sex, it hurts after.  I get a burning feeling all around the outside and i have to sit down because my pelvic bone hurts.  I don't have any STD's so I can't figure out why I would be in any pain.  Could this be my birth control that is making it hurt.  Any input would be great.

Thanks,

Andrea

K, I have made an appt. for this coming tuesday.  Thank you so much for your comments.  I have looked into that disease and saw pictures of how some women look with it.  I don't look quite that bad, just a little red.  And those women complained that wearing tight clothes can irritate them but that is not the case with me.  I am going to get tested for it anyways because you never know and some answer is better then no answer.
Again, thanks for all of your input.  I will keep you all posted after tuesday.

Ciao,  Angii

Check out vulvodynia, spasms of the pelvic floor, vestibulitis.  I would try to find a gyn that deals with vaginal pain issues.

I had the same problem.  When I went to the gyn they said it was from an overgrowth of the good bacteria found in the vagina.  Kind of like a yeast infection, but not.  Intercourse irritates it.  The dr. gave me some meds and I was cured in a week.  Good luck.
