Painful Intercourse - Dropped Pelvic Muscles

I've mention before in an other topic area that I've had a pap test and it was painful. I can't have intercourse because it hurts alot. My family doctor said that my pelvis muscles dropped, and my cervix is inflammed. Does anyone ever had that or knows anything about it that might help me. Will it go away with medication or am I going to be stuck with that and not be able to have kids. Be honest in your replies.
Thanks

You don't have to worry about having intercourse while on the meds, because it hurts to much for that. I still have to wait until monday to find out my results, they're making me wait longer. Now its getting a little swollen on the inner labia close to the vagina, i just want help now. I have a stupid doctor. And I need a refferal from him so I can get a gyno. I hope thngs will get better.

The antibiotics that I took were vaginally.  I didn't have any side effects at all from them.  It was better to insert them at night as they seem to stay in better.  Once the infection clears up, you should be pain-free.  Just don't have intercourse while on the meds as they will be flushed out. But, you said that would not be a problem.  This may be TMI but after you have been on meds and begin relations again, try being on top as it you have more control of the amount of penetration and it will help you relax and enjoy it again.  Hope this helps.

The thing is that I was suppose to get the results of my pap smear yesterday.I called and they toll me that I have to wait another week, but they clearly toll me that I can go now. Anyways I never had any children so I don't know why this is happenning to me so I hope that they have a cure for it. I think it's just my cervix that is causing the pain, so it might be easier to heal. Thanks for the advice though, it's just hard when you live with your boyfriend and it's been more than 2 months without sex, it's not just for him but for me also. We use to do it more than once a week, not it's not even close. Well I'm still hoping for the best. Does the antibiotics have any bad side effects.
Thanks

I experienced cervicitis, an inflamation of the cervix, with my first pregnancy.  It was painful to have sex and sometimes I had bleeding. The dr told me that this made the cervix bleed real easy.  She put me on ? antibiotic vaginally and it soon cleared up.  I even had pain in what would seem like my upper uterus with this.  I feel for you.  I don't know much info on the dropped pelvic muscles other than kegel exercises may help.  The good news is that the inflamation can be cleared up and you will be back to enjoying yourself soon.  It should not interfere with conceiving.
