period problems

i am 21, i started my period at 11 and was normal until i was 14 then they became very irregular, i was put on the pill but that made very little difference apart from when i did have 1 it was very heavy. i then came off it and they stayed irregular it gradually got worse and i would go for 6 or 7 months at a time without a period. i then had a contraceptive implant put in and since then i have not stopped bleeding this was 8 months ago now, the Dr did tests but cant find anything wrong any ideas as to what mite be the problem??

I suggest you get and ultrasound and some blood work done. I can not believe that your Doc.does not know where this is coming from.
It is NOT normal and you should let the Gyn. remove that implant. You might have some cysts that bleed or even the implant itself is causing problems in your uterus.

Please go to a OBGYN soon and request the above stated tests including the removal of that implant.

Has your doctor done bloodwork and ultrasounds? You might have cysts, or PCOS. It seems you have some of the symptoms of this. Are you normal weight or overweight? That plays a part in your period as well. I do suggest for you to seek advice of another doctor and get a second opinon on this. Bleeding for months on end is not good for the body. Check into getting an external and internal ultrasound. The internal will help to see if you have any cysts.
