Weird period

I was diagnosed with PCOS years ago and recently decided to take birth control to regulate my periods. I've taken them for about 5/6 months now and this is my 3rd pill (it's my 3rd month taking them). Usually my periods are heavy and 7 days, 5 bleeding, 2 spotting...this month my period came on its usual day, cramps, heavy bleeding but the following 2 days it's super light and not enough for a tampon, no cramps or anything...what say ye is the problem?
