Pelvic/vaginal pain (me), bladder dull pain (boyfriend) - Negative cultures!

Hello everyone!

For few months now I have been experiencing weird pain/stabbing sensation in my vagina, accompanied with a pain on my left lower abdomen which I assume it's my left ovary, a lot of clean discharge, painful intercourse, painful urination and redness around my vuvla/anus. Now this all started when my boyfriend and I started having unprotected sex (I was on the pill). He also have been experiencing bladder problems like a dull pain and frequency/urgency for as long I have been experiencing my symptoms. We were healthy before that and just 22 years old. We have been to many doctors but all the tests/cultures come back negative!!! What else could this be if not an infection? Maybe HPV could cause this? I mean, cultures can identify viruses.

Thank you all very much for reading this! I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you for replying! Ye he was checked for stones but nothing. I was reading about birth control pills and vuvlodynia, which may be the causative of my symptoms but I still dont understand why my boyfriend has symptoms. Too weird to be just a coincidence!

It may be a coincidence that both of you are having painful symptoms.  Has anyone checked for gall bladder stones?

Your pain may be caused by the pill.  Google "birth control pill pain in vagina" and you'll get lots of information.
