When i was your age during the night with a tampon in i bled so heavy that it went through the materess and onto the floor, i was at boarding school at the time and had to keep it to myself, When you are young they can be quite heavy but do settle down, i went on the pill for about 16 years so was lucky to only ever need about 2 tampons a month, Now i have been off pill for about 3 years i am heavy again.
hun, this sounds on the heavy side but is normal.
if your constantly leaking through thick pads then i would worry.
seek advice from your dr for reassurance there may be something you can take to ease your periods. periods are often well crazy in the first few periods but calms down later.
speak to your dad if poss and i advice you to seek info from a sexual health clinic, i had this problem when i was around your age a lil younger i believe it was actually, and i started on a mini pill then tried migronan which is a combined pill. it helped by regualting my period as well as added benifts for later that i used as the true use for birth control.
may be normal, but if it continues, yell, scream, drop to the floor and demand answers from your dr. No action on what could be a problem, could leave you in a state like me!
Yes it is normal... When your older if it is a problem then you can get on birthcontol to help it... I know it soulds wierd but if you move around and stay active then it helps the cramping if you have that as well... it will get better more than likely... as you get older... I got my period when I was 12 so I know how ya feel... good luck hun...
That would probably be classed as heavy but not excessively so. The heavy bleeding should last no longer than a day or so.
But what you've described is normal.
It's really heavy if you soak a pad in an hour and leak.
yes it is normal every woman has different menstrual cycles yours will change also. some months will be heavy others not so. its nothing to worry about. i was the same way i was living with my dad during my early teens when you need your mom the most for the "woman" problems.
