Unfortunately I have had this done about a year ago. It doesn't hurt while they are doing it however you do get cramps afterwards for about a week or so, its almost like having your period. Those types of cramps. But this procedure is worth it, since then They have only found a very small section of pre-cancerous cells.
hi there :) i dont know what procedure you said you had, but sounds similiar to my experience. When I was 16 (right after I became sexually active and at my first PAP smear) I was shown to have pre-cancerous cells. They sent me to another clinic, where I believe I got them frozen off...it wasnt very painful, and really not a big thing in my opinion. Just so you know, I am now 27 and have had 11 years of absolutely perfect and normal PAP smears. (I had them every 6 months for the first year or 2 and then just once a year). It is a memory now. I am sure your situation will work out fine as well. Good luck! :)
