Indeed there are. Just remember the apps are not fail proof. Many use the average day women ovulate and cannot detect exactly what's going on inside your body. You might try that and tracking ovulation using an ovulation kit if you want to see. Also remember sperm lives 3-5 days inside your body, so you want to avoid having sex 5 or more days before you ovulate, too, not just the day of ovulation.
There's an app for that. I'm serious. It's awesome. I can tell when I'm ovulation and when my period is supposed to be coming. Also a lot of women find that they have more discharge while ovulating. Also might be a different color, consistency, or smell.
The only surefire way to avoid pregnancy is abstinence. Otherwise, I would strongly just recommend having him wrap it. The rhythm (tracking ovulation) and pull-out methods are very ineffective in comparison.
In addition to finding lingerie that makes you feel good about how you look as DiamondDixie suggested, I'd also really work on your relationship outside the bedroom. Oftentimes, emotional ties and being super comfortable around your partner will help--especially if he's good at complimenting you and your appearance/body. Having sex more can help raise the desire, though it's not a foolproof thing. Walk around naked sometimes or get a glance in the mirror while dressing and find something new that you like about yourself each day. The more comfortable you are with your body, the better!
Your temp raises during ovulation - so start taking it the day after your period. When it elevates you can conceive, as you're ovulating. Sex drive is more tricky...but I'd go to the nicest lingerie shop I could find and pick up a nice set of undies and matching bra - not only to wear underneath my work/daily clothes, but as a present for your guy. Lingerie - the nice silky stuff - has a beneficial sexual side-effect on most women! Be well! Dix
