Pregnancy test

I was wondering how soon a pregnancy test will be accurate if you don't have a regular cycle.  I take depo-provera, so my period is somewhat non-existant although I do experience light bleeding often. So I need to know how many days after sex can a pregnancy test be taken and accurately?

A pg test will be accurate 10-14 days after having sex.  However, if you're on Depo right now, like the other ladies have said - it's highly unlikely that you're pg.

It took me a FULL YEAR after stopping the shot before I started ovulating again. (I was on it for 2 years) That is a strong BC and should work extremely well!

yeah..if you're taking depo porvera it's unlikely you are pregnant...so like pertykitty stated...i'm not sure i understand what you're trying to ask.  Even if you recently stopped taking depo, it would probably still take you awhile to get pregnant.  i know someone who is ttc and was on a long time ago...because depo stays in your system for awhile, it takes some people several months after going off of depo to ovulate normally again.  are you trying to get pregnant?  You seem to be in a hurry to take a pregnancy test

I had scattered periods for quite sometime...my last one was 45 days from the one b4...
