Pregnant like symptoms but Negative HPT results?

I had unprotected sex 2 months ago. I've been getting my period, but it's been lighter than usual until last week on thursday. I was spotting then it became really heavy and I started getting really bad cramps. I'm still light now and it's thursday. I don't want to freak myself out and believe something that's not true, but I took 4 pregnancy test and they were all negative. I've noticed recent changes in myself and so has a lot of my friends, coworkers, and even my parents. They keep telling me that I'm gaining a lot of weight and I showed my friends my stomach and they say I look like I'm pregnant. I'm an active person and I work out 6x a week and I gained 18lbs in 2 1/2 months which is weird for me because I'm 21, 5'5 and I always weighed about 120 now I'm 138 and It's freaking me out because I'm eating healthy and nothing in my diet has changed. I actually even put myself on a healthy diet and it didn't seem to cut any of the weight.

I've been really tired lately, last week I wasn't able to sleep at night maybe 4 hours max and then when I get home from work I always have to take a 2 hour nap. I have a metalic taste whenever i lick my lips, my breast are bigger, my stomach used to be FLAT and now it's round/bigger and I can't even see my hipbone like i used to, I can barely fit into my size 27 jeans and I have to wear bigger tops because my tummy is getting bigger. I just took a blood test and I have to wait 2 weeks for my results. I honestly don't know what to do with myself because I don't have any intentions on wanting to have a baby and I had negative HPT results yet all the symtoms are just not making any sense to me. Has this happen to anyone before? I'm so frustrated and I feel exhausted everyday! I just want answers

You wouldn't be getting that big that fast. At only 2 months you would be 8-10 weeks and baby isn't large enough to cause a weight gain of 18 pounds. I don't think even bloat or water retention could cause weight gain that fast. (could be wrong though) There are a lot of things beyond pregnancy that can cause similar symptoms. If you've been having actual periods, it's not likely you would be pregnant, as very few women ever ovulate while pregnant which is what causes a period. Only the blood test can confirm if you are or not, but if you're not wanting a baby, I'd strongly suggest using protection, otherwise you will at some point end up pregnant.

It's hard to not get worked up over it when people keep telling me my tummy's getting bigger. I didn't think anything of it at all. I just thought I gained more muscle weight since I was working out more. I started taking pictures of my body before I started worked out and then every week since then and it seems as though the belly is has gotten bigger.

well if you were pregnant, you would not be far enough along to make your stomach grow or gain that much weight. that is, if you were pregnant from the sex two months ago. but, by now you should be getting a positive hpt test.

since you're not missing your periods i wouldn't worry to much. it's possible you've got yourself worked up, thinking you were pregnant and have been eating more or convincing yourself things are different. i know that probably sounds stupid but it does happen. if you still think something is wrong the easiest thing to do is make an appointment with your doctor.

but just know, every women is different and it is possible to be pregnant and still have a negative result.
