burning feet

I'm 46 years old going thru menopause A few days ago i started having a burning on the bottom of my feet. a friend said she had same symptons  said that her doctor said her body was low in folic acid

that is interesting because I have the same thing - the burning feet - for one year now. I have been through the gammit with testing and can't figure out why.  I would like to try the folic acid, have you tried it and did it work? Lemmeknow asap.  THANKS PS - I'm going in for surgery on my neck ACDF on C6/C7 next week Thursdayu.  I'd like to have the folic acid on hand if that's what might help me. It's worth it to give it a try?
