Periods problem

I have regular periods and I am on contraseptive tablets. This time when I was having my periods blood was redial brown and in small quantity than the other days. Why

This is not my first period after pills. Earlier it is normal and this time it was happened. Explain

Brown is old blood. If this is your first period on the pill it might be weaker and not 'running' like normal.
