Random Vomiting

by Ricky143, Apr 10, 2008 04:28PM
I have this friend of mine who has randoms days of vomiting through out a month or two ... cant go go to work or anything. She has gone to the doctor and they say they have no idea what it could be, they have mentioned that YOUNG girls make things up for attention ... This is what the doctors have said ... can you believe that? Anwyays,  I am wondering if maybe someone one here may know something. She is in her early 20s, thin, and Tall. She says this has been going on for years and no one knows what it could be ... do you have any ideas?

This sounds like my husband (he's 25)! Does she have odd eating habits? My husband is very thin, and through out the years his diet has become very poor. Some days he barely eats. Others it's like he's at an all-you-can-eat buffet. And when he does eat sometimes he just eats ****, or even if it's healthy.. something about his stomach rejects it, and up it comes. So he vomits quite a bit, but not daily, although sometimes it's daily for a few days. It's been going on for years. This probably hasn't helped any =/.

I don't think the drs really know the extent of his eating habits. Are there days that you know that she just doesn't eat.. or eats only a tiny bit? Or maybe she doesn't eat when you're not around..?  BC not too many people know about his problem. Is she very self conscious? My husband is 5'10 and 135 lbs and he still thinks he has weight to lose. He gets ulcers in his esophagus from the vomiting and takes a script for those. Does she have other stomach troubles?
Whatever it is, I hope your girl gets to feeling better and whatever is causing this is found it.

She could very well be not eating ... i dont know ... I can ask  My brother and Her brother to pay attention ... they all live together ... but i dont know ... I know she has cists in her overies and something else but the doc's say that those issues shoudln't be causing the vomiting ...

She is self conscience but I dont think about her weight ... she just wants to be more toned ... not loose anything else per say ya know?

Thanks for your help and i hope You husband is ok as well
