Red swollen Itching and buring between Vagina and butthole

I've been really itchy for the past two months inbetween where my Vagina ends and my butthole begins and i thought it might be jock itch because my boyfriend had it and i read you can catch that from them from having sex. So i was using Lotrimin and it helped a little bit for itch but not for long, i usually wear thongs but for a while i couldnt even wear one because it would make the itch worse. Now that i've put off going to the doctors it's gotten swollen and alomst like i'm getting a slight case of hemorrhoids but not exactly it's like the skin is puckering on the edge but when i put on Prep H it's gone in the morning, I will say that when i put some of that inside my butt it's almost like it felt itchy on the inside right underneath where i am swollen which i never knew it took a curve i thought the hole when straight up. Long story short I have a fissure now from scratching which burns badly. Now i cant even wipe that area i need to pat it which makes me feel unsanitary. I went to the Dr.'s on Thursday at first thinking maybe it could be a yeast infection even though i'm not having white discharge nor smelling horrible but she said it didnt look like it and that she was going to take a culture but i wont get results back until Mon. or Tues. and it is Friday now. She did however give me Fluconazole just incase it is a yeast infection but it's been 24 hours and i dont feel any different so i'm sure i'll be taking the other pill in 48 hours. Anyways just wanted to see if someone has ever had this problem or knows what the heck it could be.

Hi there I've just been reading your symptoms and wondered if you ever found out the cause/solution to this. I have suffered from yeast infections regularly throughout my life and I am SURE that this is not a yeast infection even though I have been to the doctor and online and everything seems to point to yeast infection, but like you I do not have the smell/discharge that I usually get with a yeast infection.
For a year or so I have had haemorrhoids which flare up every now and again. I use a steroid/numbing cream and suppository. I wonder if the skin between my anus and vagina is getting irritated when I use the cream, or whether the haemorrhoids are directly causing irritation to the entire area.

I have been told that I need to keep the area clean and dry, not to scratch, only wear cotton underpants, no tights, do not sit down for too long, etc etc but this is very difficult when I work in an office, have to dress smart and sit down all day. I feel like its getting worse and worse and I'm too embarrassed to talk to managers about it. I'm trying not to shave but even the hair is causing irritation now. Like you I cannot wipe properly, there is blood every time I go to the toilet so then I'm not clean which makes the itchiness worse!

Please help, sick of  being constantly fobbed off by doctors. They just listen to my symptoms and prescribe more cream without even taking a look!
