Scared

Hi I took the emergency contraceptive pill 6 days ago and have been experiencing light cramps so far but their gradually getting worse, and spotting in my underwear. My period is due in a week And I took a pregnancy test and it said negative. But I've heard that spotting is in the early signs of pregnancy and I'm really worried because I'm 16.... Could it just be a side effect of the emergency pill??? I'm freaking out
Please help me....

I took it within 12 hours and with water as I usually do with any pill. I didn't throw up or anything, though I'm
still freaking out because that's why I do.
But Thankyou that helps alot.

Hello, did you take the emergency contraception correctly?
If so you'll be fine, I think whats happening is that it has kind of messed up your cycle with your period also being due soon..
Try not to worry, I think your hormones are just allover the place at the moment, things will settle down when you have your period.
