Should I go to the doctor?

My period is 7 weeks late today. My last one was Sept. 30. My boyfriend had a vasectomy 8 months ago & I took a pregnancy test that came out negative. If I go to the doctor, will they give me some kind of medicine to make it start & get me back to normal, or should I just wait it out? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for answering :-) , No I don't have PCOS. My periods have been 30 days apart for about the past 6 months, but they have been between like 28-35 before that. I don't think I missed it due to stress either because I'm always stressed out lol. I'm SUPER scared of doctors (i know, i know, it's silly) & don't really want to go if I don't have to. I just made an appt for tomorrow & I'm already freaking & thinking about cancelling it. Ugh....it ***** being a woman sometimes.

So you are saying your about 2-3 weeks late. Yes you should got to the doctor and they will do another pregnancy test. You can ask him/her about getting you back on track but you really need to know what has thrown it off track. Do you have PCOS? Have you always had irregular periods?
