Spotting 10 days after my period

I have ALWAYS had regular periods, no real problems. I had my first child 3 1/2 years ago at age 29. My periods returned and seemed normal. The last few months I have noticed my periods seem lighter than usual and only last 2-3 days where before they lasted 3-4. I just had a period around July 7th. Today I felt just a twinge of cramps while at work, but they went away so I thought nothing of this. When I got home I noticed I was bleeding a little. It was brown on underwear but red when I wiped. I have NEVER spotted between periods ever, except when I was on birth control pills 12 years ago. Have not been on these since then. Is this something I should be worried abou? I also have a horrible migraine type headache today that I sometimes get before starting my period. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My sister in law had the same thing happen just recently.  She was having really short periods and spotting in between.  She went to the doctor and it turns out her hormones are way off balance.  She has lost a lot of weight in the last few months so the doc. said she needed to get healthy before trying to have another child.

It is possibly a urinary tract infection. There is sometimes bleeding when you urinate and leakage into underwear. Also there is some stomach discomfort associated with that sometimes too. It is a possible thing to consider.

Sounds like ovulation pain and the cramping associated with ovulating.
