Spotting?!

After my last menstrual I spotted red two days afterwards. Then a week later spotted (brown) for 12 days until my period which was different it only lasted two days and was medium to light. I took a pregnancy test on the 3rd day of spotting and it was negative. Should I be concerned? I am worried because I never spot.

Periods are a funny thing...depending on your age, physical fitness levels, stress, etc they can change.
The flu or any other illness can change them as well.
Since the hpt came back negative you could try another one a week later to be sure.
I'm sure it's nothing to be worried about, but if you develop more symptoms, and you had unprotected intercourse, you may want to see a doctor to rule out an STD.

I forgot to add that you could post this on the Women's Health forum as well.
I'm going to ask that this post be moved to there.
