Call her pediatrician, and request that they call out an Rx for you...They will prescribe Nystatin. You have to put the cream on your nipples as well as surronding area after feeding, and WASH off at the next feeding. If she seems to no longer have it, and you still do, it will only get passed back and forth.
i agree with pixi, but you may have to call your dr. to get the Rx, i tryed to get one from my dds doc and they said i had to see me own, mine turned out to be a clogged milk duck, what does your nipple look like? if it has one big white spot then it may be clogged, if thats the case then i would take a hot shower and let the water run over it, and a hot cloth and leave it there for about an hour, try to pump for now if you do suspect its trush, because like pixi said, it will just transfer back to the baby, good luck!
My son's dr. called it out for Me, because I brought him in to see her, and she actually diagnosed him with thrush. As part of his prespription, was also mine, as that was the only possible way to entirely treat his thrush.
taysmommy is right if the pediatrician hasn't seen your child, and this is YOUR diagnosis, then you will have to call YOUR dr.
In addition, you will need to probably treat her as well, because it will go back and forth...you will forever be treating yourself.
