Sudden sharp pain on breast
Sometime when I sleep on my left side there will be a sudden burning pain aound the area between the nipple and the arm pit. I am 54 , on Nov 2011 have my uterus removed due to fibroids and was on HRT until May 2012 as I stopped taking HRT and at present taking Evening Primrose Oil. I have my breast checked on Jan 2012 and was told I am ok.The burning pain is quite worrying and your advice is greatly appreciated.

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include neuro-muscular causes such as muscle sprain, nerve impingement, infection, inflammation etc. You may consider getting this evaluated by a primary care physician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
