I will start watching my sodium intake. I have an office job, so I could do the exercises. And I am the type of person that I can't drink much water until I get thursty.

Thanksfor the input!

I wouldn't take water pills unless you talk with your doc cause they can cause your body to loose nutrients that you need.  I agree with tmv about first doing a check on the foods you eat.  There are many foods that you wouldn't think have added salt, but do.

Make sure to drink plenty of water, cut down on sodium and processed or canned foods and soda pops. If you have a standing or sitting job, you can do little "exercises" to help with the blood circulation by pressing heels into the floor, then toes and alternate tightening your upper thigh as well. Try to walk around if you can. Also, a check up with the dr wouldn't hurt to be sure everything is ok. Best wishes to you.
