I am new to this site, please let me know if there is a more appropriate forum for these questions!
I was diagnosed with gastroparesis a month ago, however I have had major symptoms such as this prior to the gastro problems I have now been diagnosed with;
Menstrual cycles are now VERY heavy and range from 32 days to 60 days. Were before around the 28 day mark shorter with maybe 1/2 day bleeding.
Extreme nausea from a deep heavy pain in my lower area, to urination, non exsistant bowel movements (unless forced and medicated)
Extreme swelling in abdomen, legs and hands, sometimes my face
Feet turn purple
Was treated with BC to cease the bleeding of the periods
EXTREME painful intercourse
Always have a headache type feeling in lower half of body
These all slowly crept up on me.
Can anybody tell me if these are symptoms, or did anyone experience any of this when they where diagnosed?
I have been tossed around and no one wants to refer me....I feel lost.
I have had 3 U/S and 2 T U/S, they show an issue with my ureter and kidney growth...and cysts. But they say they've seen this and it's not an issue and that it's IBS and to take fibre, however the specialist says and confirms it's gastroparesis. Which fibre is obsolete.
I can feel a big buldge on my right side of my uterus and now my left is starting to bother me.
I have been unable to get pregnant as well. I'm just really looking forward to a Gyno consult so they can do a laproscopy.
I've never had a pelvic exam nor a pap in the last 2yrs. They don't seem to think I need it? Lol
My breats are now sore for the last 2 weeks.
Over the last 8 months I've lost 40lbs, but woke up one day to a 20lb gain in my lower tummy.
