can you actually get pregnant that way????

hi.. PLEASE if anyone has advice or opinion to share on this, let me know.. you see my husband and i, sometimes when we have sex we do not use protection.(sorry for the detail) but he will come out before ejaculating. now a friend of mine is telling me that thats how she got pregnant with her first child. when she told her doctor about this she was told that men have sometimes active sperm in the discharge they have before actually coming and that you can actually get pregnant that way... so i guess you can guess i am a little freaked out here. did this happen to anyone? did anyone get pregnant that way?   thanks

I got pregnant that way!!  It has nothing to do with the male ejaculating before you had sex.  The sperm can and do come out with the pre ejaculate
