TTC

I am using ovulation tracker & having prenatal vitamins for the past  months. I don't see any positive sign in ovulation tracker, but I see white discharge right after my period ends i.e on 5th day & on 10th day. I have been trying to conceive for the past 8 to 9 months. I usually have 23 -24 days cycle. Now for the past 4 months I am having 32 days cycle. I never had this much long period in my life. Can anyone help me out what could be the reason ?

Thank you so much Dr. Bhupinder Kaur for your reply to my questions. Today I met my gynecologist & she prescribed me to take the Clomid pills from day 3 to 7 of my next cycle & suggested when to have intercourse. She also wanted to make another blood test in between 20th to 22nd day of my next cycle to check the Progesterone level. My doctor said, there is mild hormone imbalance in me. Hope everything will work out by god's grace & I kept my fingers crossed & praying to god. I will keep you posted.  ADVANCE HAPPY HOLLY & HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY !!!!

Hello,
Deficiency of progesterone is the leading cause for inability to conceive naturally. Synthetic forms of progesterone (known as progestins) are sometimes recommended to increase secretion of this steroid hormone. They are available as pills, vaginal suppositories, topical creams and injections. You can discuss these treatment options with your gynecologist.

Thank you so much for your reply. I will be consulting a doctor this week & will update you accordingly. Is this anovulatory cycle happens regularly or occasionally ?

Hello,
Ovulation does not take place in an anovulatory cycle. An anovulatory cycle is a menstrual cycle during which the ovaries do not release an oocyte. It can occur in hormonal imbalance, weight loss, anorexia, PCOS or pituitary dysfunction.

You can take fertility aid medicines like Clomid after consulting your dermatologist.

Is it good to take prenatal vitamins while trying to conceive? As a normal female I have lots of questions now because of TTC. Definitely I'll consult doctor. Initially I went to one GYN/OB, but he was not that much interested in helping or to give any suggestions or to examine me. That is why I am looking for good doctor. Anyways I'll keep you updated.

Thank you so much for your reply. I just have a general question to you, Is there any chance of not ovulating in a monthly cycle.

Hello,
The normal menstrual cycle length is 28 days but can vary from 21 days to 35 days and this is considered to be normal. If it prolongs beyond 35 days then irregular periods should be ruled out.
