Thick Uterine Wall

I went to the doctor due to a concerned because I was bleeding and I had not had a period in about 8-9 years. About 5 years ago I was told I was in eary menopause.  I'm 40.  I was told from this doctor that I wasn't in menopause but my uterine wall is 17mm thick and my hormone levels were completely out of wack.  Before this episode of bleeding I had one last year and some spotting and discharge.  I have had this discharge for quite awhile, years.  Am taking meds now for a bacteria infection.  I'm a little concerened because of the conflicting menopausal issue.

Sonograms don't cause pain, it has to be coincidental timing.  I hope they do the biopsy soon.

No, They are going to do a biopsy to rule out any other problems.  But since the did the sonogram I have had a lot of pain.

Did the doctor recommend hormone treatments such as a forced bleed from provera, or a D&C?
