Trying to conceive/when is enough-enough

I am 36 years old went through 15 years of abusive marriage, and finally 1 1/2 I finally married my best friend. The first time we conceived was on our honeymoon and M/C 8 weeks later doctors had no reason. 4 months later we conceived again and M/C at 13 weeks doctor finally said he thought I had a septum. I went to infertility doctor had surgery in sept of 05.(surgery #3) to remove septum. Also after many test found out I have many adhesions from D and C. Had surgery doctor puctured a hole through my uterus and surgery was over and septum removal wasn't accomplished. Getting ready for surgery #4 with a new doctor to try and remove septum and adhesions. but no guarantees. My husband and I are losing hope. We are giving up. Trying to decide wether we should stop and just enjoy our lives together. The risk of surgery is high and the worry of another M/ C are troubling us

I would not give up yet! Adhesion removal is not a major issue. I have not heard of a "septum" in the gynecological sense tho.. I know there is a septum in your nose. What is the septum you're having fixed around your uterus?

At any rate, I would certainly go for the surgery and not give up yet. I know of quite a few people who have had adhesions removed and it was a minor procedure. This could certainly fix your fertility issues.

If not adoption how about a sergeant... I know if I were in you shoes that is what I would want to do. I have had one m/c and I don't know what I would do if I lost this baby(19wks2days). You are alot stronger than I am. I hope everything works out for you.

That certainly sounds like enough to me!  Wow,  you've been through SO MUCH.

Have  you considered adoption?    If you decide not to try to conceive again,  but you want a child,  look toward adoption.
