Two week period after starting new pill.

I started a new pill called Mercilon  and the doctor said to take it on the day my period started  and my period would finish in two or three days. My period lasted nine dayd whilst i was taking the pill so i stopeed it however my period didint stop and now i have been on for two weeks and the period is alot heavier than usual with severe clotting. should i see a docter or is this normal?

It could be that your new pill has less estrogen than your last pill and that is why you bled for so long initially. It sounds like some estrogen issues. Call your office and let a nurse know what is going on. They may want to see you or may try adding estrogen or changing your pill.

thats happene to me its totaly normal...ur body will start to fix itself to the pill like before.
