Upper right abdominal pain

Hello, I am 23 years old and I've been having this full pain in my upper right abdomin and under my ribs, and up my Chest for about 4-5 days. Before that I was having lower side and belly button pains for about 3 days. The pain also travels to my back and down my sides. The pain in my ribs an cheat are kind of like cramps and so is the pain down my sides. It just feels like I'm constantly gassy but over the counter gas meds didn't help. I've had bowel movements but not big ones and today's and yesterday's was really dark which could be because of pep to bismol. I went to a PA today and she said she thinks it is constipation since the pain is everywhere, but would that cause the full achy pain in my upper side? I'm just worried.

No I've been taking miralax and a stool softener she gave me but still if anything comes out it's just a tiny bit. My urin is also very yellow all I've been drinking is water could this be because of the constipation?

I'm just extremely worried since some symptoms of hep c are abdominal pain an liver pain, is this what my symptoms sound like? I read on one thread a man mistook his hep c for what he thought was gas. I'm just worried because I've been able to use the bathroom a little but but the pain still comes and goes.

The PA would be able to tell if it was gas from that.  Your abdomen would be a little harder than normal due to at least slight bloating. If it was a gallbladder attack, it likely would have ended and had time to restart after having eaten something fatty.  They don't last nonstop; gas pain can last a while.  I'd say try some Metamucil and try to incorporate fiber in your diet (oatmeal is great for this) to help relieve yourself.  Gas pain will eventually go away.

I was able to use the bathroom a little bit at the upper right dull pain is still there. Will it take a while to go away or should I be worried that it is in fact something else. I'm just worried that it's something more serious dealing with my liver. Would the PA been able to differentiate between to the two? She did feel around and said nothing seemed abnormal would she be able to tell about the liver from that?

Yes, gas makes pain that centers right between the liver and stomach in how it feels and radiates up into the chest and down your body to your lower abdomen if it is bad enough.  Not fun.  What you described really sounds like gas to me, so I concur with the PA's assessment.  The PA likely felt around, I'm sure, and would be able to tell from palpating you if it was gas.

As far as gall bladder, if it is, you'll want to avoid fatty foods (good to do anyway), but I do believe your PA would have been able to differentiate between gas and gall bladder related pains.

I'm just asking because a family member has hep c and I didn't know if that was a possibility for what was happening. I've researched it and I really didn't find anywhere that said liver pain was a symptom. I was just tested in Oct. and it was negative.

I looked up gallbladder related pains an it did sound like it but she didn't even suggest that. Would I need to do anything differently like visit the doctor again if it was gallbladder relate or just eat healthy? How do I fix this? Can gas make pain near the liver?

On the upper right just beneath your rib cage is your liver, which is connected to your gall bladder and can cause pain if you have gall stones.  Have you been eating fatty foods?  That tends to be a trigger for pain, and pain can also appear in other locations, such as the shoulder blades.  Google "Gall stones" and see if the symptoms match up, but I do agree with the PA.  Really bad gas pain can cause pain right up there by your liver area and radiate into your chest and whole body.  I had some just the other day.  Not pleasant at all, but definitely different than gall bladder related pains.
