Vaginal Bleeding and Lump on Vagina

I used to use Yasmin birth control before without any incidences but I switched to another brand prescribed by my ob-gyn. I had sexual intercourse Dec 18th and bled one day after up to five days so I dismissed it as my period. I had sex again on Jan 2nd and the bleeding started again. I went to see my ob-gyn and she said it might be spotting from the change of contraception and dismissed it. I went back a week later while still bleeding and she gave me a pelvic exam and said all was fine but changed my birth control again. This has been 16 days that I have been bleeding and I need to know what possible things could be wrong with me if my ob-gyn said that she saw nothing wrong? Also I found a lump on the outside of my vagina close to my inner thigh and I am wondering if that is related to the vaginal bleeding that I am experiencing right now?
This whole incident is very frustrating and I want to know what you think and if I should seek another opinion?
Thanks

It sounds as if your hormones are just all out of wack. The lump/cyst you found is probbly completely seperate issue from the bleeding. Maybe an ingrown hair (folliclitis) or a boil. Did your doc see it? Id so what was her take on it? If not, then you could see a Dermatologist for a dianosis to ease your mind. As for a second opinion, well it sounds as if you don't trust the one you are with and o yes it can't hurt to seek another opinion to make you feel better. And if another diagnosis is made then you may even seek a third to see which one os most likely to be right. You NEED to not only be comfortable with your GYN but also trust in what they say. Keep looking til you find one where you have both comfort and trust.
Good Luck and I hope you have the bleeding under control soon. Oh and is she testing you for anemia? It is prevalent in women with heavy or extended periods and you should be tested regularly if the bleeding persists.
