Vaginal Itching and discharge after abortion

Hi.  About 2 months ago I had an abortion.  Just recently (about a week ago), I have been experiencing a white creamy vaginal, foul smelling discharge, along with an itching sensation.  My boyfriend and I have not been sexually active for about 3 months.  So I am wondering if this itching is due to the abortion?  Or is there a more serious problem here?

I am really worried about my situation so any help would be greatly appreciated!

YI doesn't have a smell.  It's most likely BV.  And u need an atibotic for that.  good luck.

please go to your dr. You could have something as simple as a yeast infection (but shouldnt smell "foul") or it could be something more serioud like a more severe infection

Look up bacterial vaginosis that's what it sounds like.

My friend had a baby about 3 months ago, and she decided after only 2 weeks she was ready to have sex. Well, what she described is exactly what you're describing. They put her on anitbiotics and it was gone. It was some kind of an infection just not to sure what it was called. But you do need to see your Dr. I wouldn't try any creams or anything, that may aggravate it worse if it's truly an infection. Good luck.

Ask your doctor about a yeast infection.  I have one now and it sounds the same.  Did they put you on an antibiotic after the abortion?  If so it is a good possibility that it is a yeast infection.
