Vaginal Small & Discharge

My husband and I started having sex and we both noticed large white chunks of discharge with a bad smell.  We immediately stopped having sex (because we were both worried and at this point turned off).  Could this be BV?  I have been having some pain in my abdomen area for a couple of days, and I have cysts frequently on my tubes and ovaries.  Could this be from one popping?

For almost a year now i've been back and forth to the doc office with discharge problems. when I needed to have a physical for a job, I mentioned it to my general physician and we did a routine urinalysis and it came back positive for e. coli; termed as a uti. I was given cipro, an antibiotic and it seems to be working so far. i was also previously given clindess as a cream and in pill for to treat bv.
