Vaginal Tearing and Yeast Infections

Like many other people i have painful tearing every time during intercourse. Then i get nasty yeast infections which i can deal with except for when i have intercourse again it burns. I've quit trying to heal the infections and i continue to have sex because im just fed up. Ive seen 3 different gyns and every single one says the same...use lube, foreplay, and use a toy to stretch it out. My boyfriend is very "thick" and i know this is why i tear. No matter how much lube or which position we use it hurts during penetration. Then i get yeast infections. I also bought 2 different sized "toys" to use as foreplay which i hate doing by the way, and its not working! i still tear! Im tired of hearing the same things. can anyone suggest something else? I was suppose to go back to my one obgyn for a biopsy but current i dont have health insurance therefore i can not. PLEASE HELP!

It's been a while since i posted anything concerning my problem. I just wanted to let you know i figured out why i am having issues. I was off of birth control for 2 weeks because i wanted to switch back to a previous kind i was on. Well we had intercourse 3 times when i wasn't on birth control (condom use of course) and i NEVER TORE! so im beginning to think the birth control is the issue. I went back on birth control and we had intercourse a couple days ago and it tore me really bad again.

So i have another question maybe you could answer...I was on the lowest dose of birth control before i switched back to this type and had the tearing so it seems all birth control is causing my natural lubrication to disappear...what other types can i try other than just condoms and no birth control? I'm fed up because i don't like using condoms personally thats why i am on birth control. But if this keeps up then im just going to go off of it because i'd rather use condoms than be in pain

I can understand where you're coming from!  Sometimes in order for us to really get to know our bodies we have to experience something out to the ordinary.  Once again best wishes and God bless as well!

Thank you! I wouldn't have thought about that. It wouldn't surprise me if that is what i would have. It's just upsetting because my boyfriend is the only guy i've ever slept with and we havr been together over 2.5 yrs and it just *****. I feel i shouldn't have to deal with this.

I would say continue using lubricants (preferably water-based such as any of the KY products and or Astroglide ) because most vaginal tearing comes from a lack of naturally produced lubricants by your vagina aka vaginal dryness.  You may also have an under lying condition called Endometriosis.  The next time you see your OB/GYN ask them if you could have Endometriosis.  Best wishes & God bless as well!
