While I'm not an expert and any time we get a result, we can ask either the tech/doctor who read the test results of the doctor who order the test questions about those results. So, call them for a full answer. But the word benign is telling. That means harmless (basically). That's a good word to see in any report. Benign also means noncancerous. I really don't know though if it is telling you that you have hpv which is genital warts. Those are common. Those are contagious. But if your doctor said it is NOT warts, you either believe that or get a second opinion. Let us know how it turns out.
