My girlfriends late on here period is she pregnant?

my girlfriend is on the jazmin BC pill and i think its the 21 pack where you take 7 days off and in that 7 days off she will get here period, she takes her pills around 7 oclock but sometimes its later,
im really upset and worried if shes pregnant and want to know if sometimes you dont take it at that time it can effect her period.
also shes like 3 days late she would normally have it on a monday but its thursday.
could someone give me some advice on what to do.

Ive always been told by my doctor that if you take the pill on that day at anytime you should be fine it takes awhile for the pill to work outta your system. sinces shes late now she should take a pregnancy test if it comes out negative wait a week then take another if she still hasnt got it. Some women can get pregnant while on the pill speaking from experience as i am now 12 weeks along and never missed a pill. Just remember she will be Upset and scared too. Good luck to you both!

If her period is late, she should take a pregnancy test.  It might just be that the pill is so strong in her system that it is keeping her period from arriving, but it might be the opposite.  She should get a reliable answer if her period is late.
