Vaginitis treatment

I recently noticed a hint of BV and as I was trying to treat it, I found out I was pregnant.  I plan on having an abortion, but I have to treat the BV before I can get the abortion, I'm only 6 weeks.  What route should I go for treatment, as soon as possible?

I think every women should have the right to make their own choices when it comes to their personal health care and reproduction care. it would seem to be a matter of personal beliefs that make a person think one way or another about everything under the sun. I think we all should respect each other and stop accusing others of wrongs based on our own system of thinking. Peace!

You took the words right out of my mouth! And I must say the chicken, elephant line was priceless. They think it is nothing. "gobs of tissue", "a mistake"  It's only a baby if they want it to be a baby.
I am certain that there are MANY women out there that believe in abortion and also want or already have children. When those that have children found out they were pregnant, did they rejoice over a "gob of tissue". Call their friends and family and say, "I am so excited, I am going to have a "gob of tissue!" And when they saw the ultrasound, did they say, "Oh, my gob of tissue is a BOY?" NO!! It was a baby! But only because it was convenient for it to be a baby.
How can it be so simple and yet people just don't get it?

Again, you say "However, I can't EVER see telling someone else what he or she should do with their bodies."

Hello? Are you in there??, knock knock?? -- they're not doing anything to THEIR body, no, they're killing the other living human being inside.  Just because it's on the inside doesn't make it any less of a human being.  How can someone say life doesn't begin at conception??  That embryo is not going to grow into a chicken or an elephant, it's a human being right from the very start.

The rapist and the murderer on death row made those decisions and committed those acts and must face their consequences, whatever they may be.  That innocent baby made none of those kinds of choices, yet are obliterated in the blink of an eye.

Didn't the bible say, "Judge not, lest ye be judged"?

But that's just it - it's not about YOU anymore.  It's about what you're doing to the baby - another life, another human being.

"You know, you people kill me" What a funny "choice" of words. And yes my beliefs include killing be WRONG!! If you shoot someone through a wall and blow their head off, does that make them any less dead? Is it still murder? Abortion is like murdering from the next room. Or with a blindfold on. People who are supporters of "Choice"  are always the ones screaming at us "Right to Lifers" to SHUT UP and stop forcing our opinions down your throat. You just don't want to hear the truth and the facts. Make your "choice" before you lay down.. And yes, I know your next arguement is what if you were raped and had no choice..
The answer to a rape is NOT murder. Killing the baby doesn't erase the rape. Two wrongs DON'T make a right. I could go on, but I am guessing you stopped listening a long time ago.

What if I don't believe life begins at conception? What if being pregnant would mean losing my family, getting kicked out of my house, or risking my life? It's not so black-and-white as you think.

See, here's the thing. I don't personally think I would ever have an abortion. However, I can't EVER see telling someone else what he or she should do with their bodies. My beliefs are my own, not yours, not anyone else's. I'm completely offended by the so-called religious right's insistence on telling others how to live. Assuming you're Christian, do you honestly think Jesus would be so obnoxious and arrogant?

For those who believe that no one should have an abortion, I urge you to stand behind your beliefs. Fund some poor pregnant teenager through her pregnancy and childbirth, support her emotionally, make sure she gets educated, and adopt the baby when it's born. Then I'd consider supporting your cause. Until then, I see a lot of people talking about what everyone else should do, without taking on any responsibility for the consequences.

And another point for the religious right. How many of you are against abortion, but okay with the death penalty and/or war? Aren't *already existing* human lives worth protecting as well?

You know, you people kill me. If you don't want an abortion, don't have one. But don't preach to me about what *I* should do with my body. I'm not forcing my beliefs on you - I don't think it's too much to ask that you not force yours on me.

I just had some thoughts - this is a topic that makes me think a lot so bear with me.

There are so many women on this forum that would do anything to have a baby.

Then there are women on the same forum that would do anything - even kill - to not keep their baby.

It seems to me that  maybe some of these women that are trying to rid themselves could, instead of killing their baby, give it to a woman that wants it.

I know it is very polyanish, but it was just a thought.

Now, a few things for CuriousGeorgina. I believe that any woman planning to have an abortion needs to be informed before making that huge, life-changing decision.

First:

- Did you know that your little baby has a heart beat?
- Did you know that your little baby has its own blood type.
- If your little baby is a girl then your are violating her "women's rights"

Second:

-Please check out a few web sites - that is the least you owe your baby before you kill her (or him). I sould let you know that some of the language and pictures are graphic. But, I guess, if we are only talking about a medical procedure that deals with some tissue then it should not gross anyone out.

You can only treat BV with prescription medication, so you need to see your doctor asap. You may still be able to take Mifeprex, but as you know you don't have much time (I believe you can't take it if it's been more than six or seven weeks since your last period).
