What are the chances of getting pregnant while on the pill but not using a condom?

my boyfriend and i have been together for three and a half months now. we started having unprotected sex for the last month, before that we were using a condom and everything was fine. what i want to know is, if we arent using a condom, but i am on the pill, taking it every day (except the week i have my period) at 7am or about 10 minutes around that time, and have been continually taking the pill for the past 8 months properly, what are the chances of me being pregnant. my period is due in one week, and i am absoluately scaring myself silly.
can someone please please help me? thankyou to anyone who will put me outta my misery slightly

I'm not trying to scare you but there is still a chance of getting pregnant. My sister is on YAZ and she just found out that she is pregnant so it does happen. Just make sure you take it every day and use condoms if you really don't want to become pregnant and get an std. Nothing is ever full proof.

if its the combined pill (which i am on) its 99.9% effective, the same as using a condom IF it is taken correctly.
just visit a family planning clinic and they'll tell you what's available but unprotected sex isn't a very good idea till you're protected by the pill...
plus remember pills cant protect you from STD's

I think the statistic is about an 80% chance of you NOT getting pregnant, but I understand why you'd be worried. I had unprotected sex the other day and I'm NOT on the pill so I'm freaking out. You're lucky you're period is in a week, though. Just make sure you keep an eye out for it. And you won't have to worry about being late or anything since you're on the pill. Just wait it out...hopefully things will go fine.
