What are they rubbing?

Me and my friends are puzzled by those sex videos. Why are the women rubbing their own private part when they already got a penis into them? Does it make a difference? What are they rubbing? Where is it located at?

Though it is fine to learn about the clitoris from sex videos, they (sex videos) are not really much of a way to learn about sex.  They choose to show what is cinematographic or flashy on camera rather than what is really pleasurable.  For example, they always show the guy pounding away jackhammer style on the woman.  That kind of thing is pretty rough to use as a role model, yet lots of men (influenced by porno movies) think that is the way to have sex with a woman.  Let your feelings be your guide, and let your partner know what feels good.

I am almost positive that all women have it.  Except in some African countries they do a procedure to remove it from little girls.  It is very sad and causes these women a lot of problems... some girls die from it.

Anyway, assuming you were born here in the US and didn't have that procedure done, yes you have one... and yes, it SHOULD work.

Maybe you should go in the bathroom sometime and try to find yours using a little mirror or something.  It is near the little whole that you pee out of (sorry, I don't want to use too many technical terms in case you don't know where I am talking about).

You can try rubbing it yourself with small, soft circles and it should bring you pleasure, especially if you already feel sexually aroused.  If you keep touching it you eventually will get the sensation where your vaginal muscles get very, very tight.  Then, they will begin to contract by themselves and this is an orgasm.  I have never met anyone that does not enjoy this sensation.

Amanda,

They are rubbing their clitoris.  Just as the head of a man's penis brings them a lot of pleasure, so does the women's clitoris.  The difference is that a man's penis head is being stimulated when inside a woman's vagina, but a woman's clitoris is not.  Some women can orgasm without stimulating their clitoris, but many need it to be stimulated in order to orgasm.  Therefore, often a woman with touch her clitoris during sex or her partner will stimulate it for her so she can orgasm.  The clitoris is the little bump above your vaginal opening.  Hope you can find yours ;-)-- it is a lot of fun!
