What is going on? Hormones or Pregnancy???
I have been on Loestrin 24 for 5 years. I love it! Last month however, I went to the dermatologist and she talked me into trying Yasmin for a month due to unpleasant acne around my chin that has been showing up month after month. She said Yasmin was also known as an acne medication and should be comparable to Loestrin (i.e. no mood swings, short periods, etc.). Well, it wasn't. I was a total B***H to everyone, especially my husband. He seemed to have caught most of it, over nothing. My cycle was extremely heavy and longer than my usual 3-4 day cycle I had on Loestrin. I probably should have tried it more than a month. But, I decided to go back to Loestrin and just fork out money on face cream. My question is this:
I was due to get my period this last week and it never arrived. I continued to have unprotected sex while trying the Yasmin because my doctor's office said it would be fine because I was already on the pill. I have been stressed at work for the last few days. I am really thinking that is to blame for me not having a period. And the fact that since Loestrin and Yasmin was not as comparable as what my doctor said could have some reasoning behind my cycle being messed up.
I know no one can tell me whether or not I'm pregnant. I'm just asking should I test or just wait till next cycle and then be alarmed if I don't get it? Since technically I am late, if I was it should show up on a HPT now. I don't have any symptoms except I've been nauseas and cramping, but no bleeding. My husband had some stomach problems, so it could be a bug or something we ate.

No, I didn't switch in the middle. I waited till I had my period and then when I was to start a new pack, that's when I started back with Loestrin 24.
I don't know what is going on. I may go and pick up a cheap test and try it. I was thinking I'd just wait till next cycle and see what happens.

Hi I was wondering did you switch in the middle of the packs?I'm not 100% sure or anything but if you did,I'm thinking that could be whats messing your cycles up.I could be wrong you could always test if you havent.GOODLUCK I hope all goes the way you want it to!
