What is the red bump on my vagina?

Last night I was checking myself out and I realized I had a single hard bump on my right lip. It is only the size of an average pimple but when I quizzed it nothing came out but clear liquid. It hurt and it doesn't seem like an ingrown hair. I put a warm compress on it last night and in the morning I squeezed it and blood came out, but it looks glossy on tip and not willing to pop. I then got in a warm bath and soaked then put antibiotic ointment on it and a bandaid. It has seemed to go down, but still concerned. I had unprotected sex a few days ago, but I hadn't had sex in almost a year and also he had a longtime monogamous girlfriend before me. It hurts but not sure if its because I messed with it or not.

I need more information. Did you have sex three days ago with a man or a woman? If it was unprotected sex, then you should be tested for all STIs. The bump seems to be a boil going by the way you described it. Herpes usually appears in a cluster of bumps or with a lot of bumps. The onset of symptoms usually happens 2 to 20 days with feverish symptoms along with blisters b
