thanks guys, yeah i didnt think it was thrush cause ive had that before and it didnt smell that bad. ill go see my GP.
Ive been reading up on it and i think its bacterial vaginosis.
A yeast infection will cause a thick, white, cottage cheese-like discharge. It also has a bad odor. Itching is also a symptom of a yeast infection. If you've never had one before, you should see your doctor for an initial diagnosis. I would definately start using condoms until you know for sure. You might pass an infection on to your partner without them...
Are you due for your period?? Sometimes I get what you are describing a few days before I get it; some months more than other (larger amounts of smelly thick discharge & frequent urination, Sorry, TMI!)..or it sounds like it could be a yeast infection? I've never had one so I'm not sure what to tell you about them, but I tink they cause an increase in discharge, sorry if this was no help at all..
You might have some kind of bacterial infection in you vagina, maybe an yeast infection or something else. You should get a pap smear just to make sure. Do you have any itchyness, if so you might have an infection, probably nothing to bad, but get checked, it's the only way.
Fishy odor usually indicates some sort of infection, whether an std or bacterial vaginosis. The thick yellow/white discharge sounds consistant. It can also be a yeast infection, however the discharge usually doesn't smell fishy, but rather like "baking bread". Bottom line, you need to see a doctor.
Have you had unprotected sex since your last std screening? If not, your negative tests 4 months ago really don't mean much. Good luck.
i didnt mean to scare you, but i think what you're having is bacterial vaginosis or vaginitis...how did i know? i had it before...i had a white fishy odor discharge before and it's really irritating so i went to my ObG to know what it is, i describe what i'm having and she did an IE on me and a swab test, this will surely indicates if i have it...and it turns out that i did...she gave me antibiotics to cure it for a week and it worked, go to your doctor and tell him/her what's happening...im sure she knows what to do and cure you in no time...
this is not an STD, "maybe" it was caused by the pills you're taking, coz when the good bacteria like Lacto. acidophillus that's present in our vagina and mouth or pH was out numbered by the bad bacteria, some infections will eventually happen, like BV or yeast infection...but its curable for a week or so, even lesser...so there's nothing to be scared about...just go see your doctor asap...i hope this will help...takecare and good luck...
also i have been needing to pee alot, like at night i will wake up at about 4am and empty my entire bladder when i didnt before.
